Mexico City. An accidental layover turned into a spontaneous birthday trip for myself and my dad. What a vibrant city. An eclectic mix of modernity and and the old. Still authentic to a tee. Dirt cheap tacos and world class mezcal cocktails. Currently awaiting my next weekend trip to this wonderful city. Skip the beaches and go to CDMX instead.

WELLINGTON

Never thought in a million years that I’d be traveling to Wellington but of course, life trajectories happen and have lead me to this beautiful city. Wellington was the highlight of this trip to the Pacific Islands and I am glad I made the trek out there. Wellington, although small, is completely doable in a day or two. Its best enjoyed starting off the day at one of the many artisanal coffee shops, people watching by the bays and ending with a cocktail or two. One of the most hipster cities I’ve seen as a whole and I loved it all. Read on to find out why!

Yangon, Myanmar. A place only opened to tourism a mere six years ago and is still unbeknownst to the Western world. So little is known about the country tourism-wise and you’re stuck reading the same blogs with the same tips. But what else is there to do? I was luckily able to explore and wonder over a couple of days in the old capital of Myanmar and it came as a wonderful surprise after my chaotic tourist-filled stay in Thailand. If you’re wanting a place that is still relatively undiscovered and you can count the number of foreigners on your hand, Yangon just might be the place to visit.
