Mexico City. An accidental layover turned into a spontaneous birthday trip for myself and my dad. What a vibrant city. An eclectic mix of modernity and and the old. Still authentic to a tee. Dirt cheap tacos and world class mezcal cocktails. Currently awaiting my next weekend trip to this wonderful city. Skip the beaches and go to CDMX instead.

So little is known about the country tourism-wise and you’re stuck reading the same blogs with the same tips. But what else is there to do? I was luckily able to explore and wonder over a couple of days in the old capital of Myanmar and it came as a wonderful surprise after my chaotic tourist-filled stay in Thailand. If you’re wanting a place that is still relatively undiscovered and you can count the number of foreigners on your hand, Yangon just might be the place to visit.
