I guess the term is now, “digital content creator”?
Steph Sia is a 30-year old creative based in Vancouver, Canada. She is a podcaster, YouTuber, hobby chef, world traveler, and an internationally-awarded pole dancer. Basically an all around creative person. In her spare time, Steph likes to host dinner parties, wine and dine, and is a competitive and professional pole dancer.
Travel. SIA Around the World chronicles the jetsetting adventures of Steph Sia. A self-proclaimed workaholic, Steph had grown tired of having to wait to travel the world. Because both of her jobs are centered around travel, she adopted a new perspective on travel and started to embark on spontaneous weekend trips to explore the world at her (very fast) pace.
Based in Vancouver, Canada, Steph regularly takes weekend trips to all around the world. Some of her favourite cities include New York, Hong Kong, an. Armed with her Macbook and an appetite, she aims to change and inspire the way people feel about travel.
Kitchen. The flipside of this blog is SIA in the Kitchen which is a passion project that started on Steph’s Instagram account, @siasteph, where she hosts a live cooking show every Sunday. In order to keep track of her food-related trials and tribulations, she started this blog to document her recipes, often inspired from her many trips around the world.
Podcast. Stripped by SIA is a podcast that started in late 2019 and that has spanned over 1 Season, 32 episodes and 3 bonus episodes. The podcast centres around strippers and sex workers and aims to destigmatize the industry. Steph hosts, produces and edits each weekly episode. Music by DJ TED-D, graphics by Maria Belen de Rama and photography by Ian Daburn.
A new episode is released every Sunday featuring a new guest in various forms of sex work or a different angle of sex work. Steph has hosted strippers, cam girls and boys, escorts, porn stars, slaves, and more. She dives deep into discussion involving swinger resorts, BDSM, foot fetishes, online sex work, escorting, and sugaring - just to name a few.
Season 2 coming post-coronavirus.
YouTube. SIA Slurps is Steph’s YouTube channel dedicated to all things noodles which is a couple years in the making but now (thanks to the coronavirus) is a reality which came together in one week! She films, edits, storyboards, and (luckily) consumes everything she makes! Music by DJ TED-D.
Every Monday, Steph hosts MSG Mondays - a segment for rating and reviewing her favourite and friend-recommended instant noodles. Tune in each week for a new and different noodle - dry, spicy, soupy, who knows! Each video is wrapped up in 1 minute.
Every Friday, Steph takes the show into her kitchen for Fresh Nood Fridays where she creates a noodle dish from scratch from start to finish. If a dish features noodles in it, she’ll make it. She makes everything from Japanese ramen to Vietnmese salad rolls to Persian ash-e reshteh to Italian cacio e pepe. Each how-to video is under 5 minutes.
